Logos Beach Village in Rhodes is one of the first Glamping Projects in Greece. It’s a unique destination where you can combine your favorite water sports with luxurious and relaxing vacations in stunning glamping tents. Tobi Gottfried, owner of the Kite & Windsurf School in Theologos since 2011, decided to bring the ultimate vacation experience to life. In 2018, he launched Logos Beach Village, a distinctive glamping project right next to his surf school. Today, Tobi Gottfried’s glamping site attracts tourists from all corners of the world. If you’re thinking of staying at Logos Beach Village, be sure to book early to enjoy this unique glamping accommodation in Greece.
If you run a water sports school or offer nature activities, adding an accommodation space where visitors can enjoy the full glamping experience—combining comfort and adventure—is the ideal choice to enhance their experience. Tobi Gottfried explains, “When people plan their vacations, they first look for a place to stay, then think about how they will get there, and lastly, they consider what activities they can do to escape the routine.” This led to the creation of Logos Beach Village, an alternative glamping site in Greece, combining glamping tents with water sports lessons, offering visitors a complete vacation experience.
Tobi adds, “Most of our guests come for the water sports, either because it’s their hobby or they want to gain experience in it. We used to make bookings for them at other accommodations, but now they can stay in our luxury safari tents, which elevates their experience to a whole new level.”
The combination of water sports with family vacations has proven to be ideal. The glamping tents add a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and contribute to the sense of relaxation and carefree enjoyment for the visitors. A glamping business can strengthen local tourism businesses, offering new opportunities and enriching the available activities for tourists.
“The process of obtaining a glamping license and safari tents and executing the project seemed like a big challenge at first,” says Tobi. “However, we learned a lot from our first order and setup of the initial glamping tents, and now we are better equipped to calculate transportation, design, and construction for future glamping investments.”
Innovation is a key aspect of Logos Beach Village. “Starting a glamping business wasn’t easy, but we wanted to offer something unique. We are the first official glamping site in Rhodes and one of the few businesses with glamping tents in Greece.” Tobi explains that glamping is continually gaining popularity because people are looking for an alternative way to vacation, different foods, and the opportunity to break free from their routine. Glamping combines nature with luxury and comfort, something our guests truly appreciate.
When Tobi decided to start his business and purchase glamping tents, he chose YALA for their design flexibility and excellent service. “From our first collaboration until today, YALA has remained a reliable partner.” One of YALA’s biggest advantages is the flexibility of their designs. “We wanted to customize the designs to make our 13 glamping tents even more luxurious. The Eclipse, Aurora, and Supernova models gave us the ability to choose materials and styles that aligned with our vision.”
“The investment was significant, but with our focus on privacy and the proper layout, our guests are willing to pay the price for the experience. As with any business, this investment required a solid business plan.” The combination of the water sports school with the glamping business proved to be a successful venture.
